- I don't believe in cockfighting but the defendants have a point. The Feds stick their nose too much in how states run their affairs. Their role isn't to make the states identical, it is just to make sure all the states play nice with each other.

- I like the "starve the beast" concept. The only reason they can do the modernization is because of all the money the U.S.A and Western Europe pour into their factories. Take that away and they are back to being 18th century barbarians.

- @Laura Shoot to wound is a dilemma and possibly illegal even for cops. That's why they developed Tasers and beanbag weapons.

- Sorry to sound heartless but this kid is a Darwin Award Winner. At 15 you have to know pointing a "gun" at or near a cop is going to get you shot.
